Tour Overview

We couldn’t find a better name for these 4 exceptional days starting and finishing from the former royal city of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO world heritage site.

  • On your way to Nong Khiaw' nothern idyll, visit the Pak Ou cave where kings over time have placed 1,000 statues of Buddha. Then enjoy a traditional lunch on the Mekong riverside.

  • After a day’s scenic and relaxing ride amongst the mountains of northern Laos, embark on a sunset cruise on the Nam Ou river before dinner by the pool at the Maison de Nong Khiaw, your home for the night.

  • A scenic winding road will take you to Nam Kat Yolapa, an award-winning eco-tourism destination set in a lush rainforest in the Phou Hipho Provincial Protected Area in Oudomxay province. The resort offers a variety of activities, including hiking, swimming, ziplining, and visiting the Nam Kat waterfall.

  • The next day’s ride to Pakbeng is a scenic 150-kilometer journey that takes you through the mountains of Oudomxay province, surrounded by stunning scenery, with rolling hills, lush forests, and cascading waterfalls.

  • Along the way, you will pass through several small villages where you can get a glimpse of local life. You may also see some of the ethnic minority groups that live in the area, such as the Hmong, Khmu, and Lu.

  • In Pakbeng, your hotel awaits you with a swimming pool, overlooking the majestic Mekong River.

  • The last day’s ride will take you through the once-inaccessible and jaw-breaking beauty of ancient mountain ridges that connect the Lanna kingdom capital of Chiang Mai in Thailand to the Lan Xang Kingdom capital of Luang Prabang.

  • To close the tour, dine under the stars at Manda de Laos in Luang Prabang, surrounded by a UNESCO classified lily pond. Immerse in a tropical ambiance and discover the Laotian family cuisine.
